Care Ministries - Deacons
The Deacons are involved in the Caring Ministries of this church by making visits on a regular basis to those who are shut-in, sick, lonely or in distress. They also administer the Deacon’s Fund which can provide some temporary financial assistance when needed by church members and their families or friends. Requests are made through the Business Administrator’s office at the church or by contacting the moderator of the Deacons as identified in the church bulletin. The individual can make the request or it can be made by another person with the permission of the individual in need. The third way the Deacons demonstrate care is by providing refreshments during the coffee hour on Sunday mornings.
