Women's Ministry
Purpose: To provide opportunities for women to cooperate with God so Christ may be fully formed in every woman of the church.
Biblical Basis: “For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son.” Romans 8:29
Our Purpose is undergirded by the three fold intentionality:
- Love the women
- Meet them at their need
- Encourage them into the heart of Jesus
Envisioning Women's Ministry as a wheel, the hub of the wheel is the study of God's Word. Bible study is the primary activity of the ministry. Although the Scriptures are the focus of a life-changing women's ministry, mere knowledge of the Bible is not the desired goal. Rather it is first a deeper relationship with God and then healthy, intimate relationships with other women.
Spring of 2008
Ongoing Bible Studies:
Women at the Well: An intergenerational Bible study meeting weekly from 9:00 -11:00 a.m. This fun gathering of over fifty women of all life stages gathers in the Celebration Center of the church and does have childcare provided. Currently, the group is studying Jennifer Kennedy Dean's book, “Live a Praying Life”. Coffee and warm fellowship is always provided…so you are warmly invited to join us.
Marketplace Bible Studies: Bible study for working women or those unable to attend during the week.
Saturday Morning Bible Study: Meets once a month from 7:30-9:30 a.m. in the Conference Room of the church. This group is studying Beth Moore's “Living Beyond Yourself”, a video and workbook study of the fruit of the Spirit. Dates the group is meeting are: March 22, April 19, May 17, June 28 (longer session, runs from 7:30 -11:00 a.m.)
Noon hour Bible study at Co's BMW Dealership at Centerra: Working women in this business area meet from noon to 1:00 p.m., upstairs in Co's dealership, every other week. Group is studying the Gospel of Matthew. Call the church office 970-352-3030 to get schedule for each month.

Thursday Morning Study: With an emphasis on prayer this group meets from 9:00-11:00 a.m. every Thursday. The study is located in the Son Room, upstairs in the church.
